With over 20 years of experience, Jamie Lynn equips people with the skills needed for a life of financial independence. She helps people with budgeting and the development of good savings habits, restructuring and reducing debt, and by enhancing their knowledge of insurance and investments. Her clients include recent college graduates (often at the request of parents wanting their children to get off to a good start), divorced or widowed men and women who want to feel more in control of their financial lives, educators and business people with good incomes who want to develop better financial habits, and pre-retirees and retirees looking to develop practical systems regarding money as they move on to that next stage of life.
qualifications
Jamie Lynn holds a Doctorate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Alabama, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Jamie Lynn has over 15 years of experience teaching financial planning courses at the collegiate level for several universities, including THe University of Georgia, The University of Southern Mississippi, Virginia Tech, and the University of Kentucky. She has served as Program Director for two universities holding Carnegie R1 status. Jamie Lynn also holds the CFP and AFC designations. She continues to teach and write, in addition to working with clients.
